The material provided in the Uncommon Psychotherapy has been consistently high quality, and in just the right level of detail. Whilst many of the topics feel familiar from previous study and experience, the Uncommon Psychotherapy course has given me a far greater depth of understanding, and as a result, the ability to more fully embrace and utilise the concepts and techniques in my practice.

I would recommend Uncommon Psychotherapy as the contents of the course are enlightening, informative, comprehensive and easy to understand. As a practitioner, I feel I have gained a great deal of information and material I can add to my “Therapeutic toolkit”. The many explanations for human behaviour make sense and increase understanding, which facilitates being able to empathise with clients and to be non-judgemental. In addition, I feel I have gained the confidence to be more creative.

Uncommon Psychotherapy is in the forefront of what will be more common in psychotherapy. It brings together in a very useful way new developments in related research and presents them in a way that makes them very utilizeable. Whatever your background and approach to psychotherapy, this course provides a very useful framework to integrate your knowledge and its application.

The Uncommon Psychotherapy is the most important course I’ve done in personal development because it’s given me the knowledge and big picture of how the mind and nervous system work and how problems arise and the different ways to solve them. This course is what any Coach, NLP Practitioner or Hypnotherapist or Counsellor needs in the first place. IT IS A MUST. Thank you so much! I am strongly recommending it to all my colleagues!

I’m a nutritionist and health coach helping women overcome their struggle with weight, dieting and emotional eating. The Uncommon Psychotherapy Course provides a great background of helpful information about how and why people do what they do and how to help them change problematic behaviour patterns. The course is very comprehensive and interesting – and I had a lot of fun reading the examples and stories which I often share with my clients, too.

The Uncommon Psychotherapy course added to my already well equipped toolkit provided by Uncommon Knowledge courses. I highly recommend this course. It gives a thorough understanding of the brain and also how it can work in both a clever and dumb way in forming beliefs and patterns, allowing us to see why people do what they do even if it is destructive or not resourceful for them. The course also gave clear outlines and strategies for undertaking client therapy, addressing how to deal with many different situations and attitudes a client may bring to therapy, e.g. resistance. Great guidelines on how to find a client’s resources and how to use these resources to bring about positive change in a client. These examples are just a small snapshot of a very beneficial and comprehensive course. I am a better therapist because of it.

I have found the Uncommon Psychotherapy course to have some interesting tidbits and profound information that filled in some gaps of other training that I have received. It was interesting and educational as well as being presented in an easy format and convenient.

Most practitioners I have come across run micro businesses while only a few are involved with other practitioners and it’s a great opportunity to see how other people achieve results and to have some of the “behind the scenes” things explained. While reading about hypnosis and life coaching skills from a book is one thing, it is an entirely different thing when you have the client before you and you wonder where to from here. I appreciate it is absolutely imperative the client is always left feeling the client is in front of the expert and that the client has received some benefit from the experience and no matter what the level of expertise of the practitioner, there are always challenges. Uncommon Psychotherapy has given me some tools to handle this type of situation and I am really enjoying the experience.
